π Hi Reader, Happy Saturday! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! Here are some quick highlights of today's newsletter:
If you enjoyed reading this newsletter, I'd really appreciate it if you would forward this to a friend who might too! And if that's you, make sure to subscribe here. Thank you so much! Chris π©Ί Taking My Health Into My Own HandsThis week, I share the playbook I used to take control of my health after digging into my family historical and lab results. I'll break down which tests I think are actually worth your money and when each one matters. Plus, I'll share the personal health AI I built on top of my medical records to surface what doctors missed.
π The Grocery Membership That Pays for ItselfToday's newsletter is brought to you byβ¦ Thrive Marketβ βThrive Market is an online grocery store for higher-quality staples, delivered to your door, with every product vetted against 1,000+ ingredients they don't allow. We do a ton of our shopping with Thrive and love so many of the brands we've found on their site, like Simple Mills, Mighty Sparks and Graza. We're always finding new awesome brands through Thrive! With no per-order delivery fees, service charges, or tip math, the flat $5-a-month membership pays for itself in the first order or two. Thrive also has a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can try it risk-free. Get $20 off your first three orders plus a free $60 gift at chrishutchins.com/thrivemarketβ π My Past Week
β My Top PicksβοΈ Delta Amex Cards: Best-Ever Offers + New PerksTo celebrate 30 years of partnership, Delta Amex Cards have new best-ever 90K-125K welcome bonuses. Additionally, the cards now include a free 2nd checked bag on domestic flights and the Gold/Business Gold cards added a $120 rideshare credit ($10/mo). Both of those perks come with no increase in annual fees. π³ Last Call: Two Best-Ever 150K Welcome BonusesTwo record-high 150K offers are about to disappear. If you can meet the minimum spend and are eligible, I think they're great offers.
With both these bonuses worth >$2,000 to me, I'd be all over both of them if I didn't already have the cards. π 5 New Transfer Bonuses Live This WeekSeveral new transfer bonuses are out this month. As always, I don't suggest moving points speculatively without a booking in mind.
π¨ Marriott Card: Best-Ever 125K + Free Night OfferA personal Bonvoy card is now offering a best-ever welcome offer of 125K Marriott points plus a free night award, which I value at ~$1,300. The free night is good for up to 50K points, but top-able to 75K. For a low fee card with a low minimum spend, this is great offer if you're interested in accumulating Bonvoy points and can get good use out of a 50K free night award. βοΈ Alaska Atmos: Increased Fees + 50% Off Award SaleMixed news from Alaska's Atmos Rewards. The bad: the partner award booking fees are rising from $12.50 to $20 each way on 7/1, and Saver (basic economy) fares stop earning points and status for bookings made on/after 6/11. The good: the new monthly Global Getaways award sale offers up to 50% off economy awards. Right now you can go to Mexico City from 7,500 points and Europe from 15K (for travel 9/1-11/15), but you need to book by 6/6 (today). I'm excited to see what these deals look like each month. πΏ My Recommendation: StickerboxβStickerbox is an amazing device that turns ideas into stickers. My Dad got my daughter one for her birthday and now both my girls are obsessed. You just press the button on top, say what you want on the sticker and it prints instantly on BPA/BPS-free paper. Check it out here. π° The Rest of the Weekπ³ Credit Cards & Points
