It's so tough to accrue Alaska miles, so I speculatively transferred a lot of my Amex points last month and thankfully you can now make free 1:1 mile transfers between Alaska Mileage Plan and HawaiianMiles. Finally, since Hawaiian is a transfer partner with Amex, you can now transfer Amex → Hawaiian → Alaska, which is amazing (but might not last)!

🤑 Coast FIRE: A Guide to Semi-Retirement

If you want to keep digging into FI after listening to this week's episode, Coast FIRE is something I've been really intrigued by. It's a new-ish concept in the FIRE movement that's about saving enough that it will grow to fund your retirement, so you don't have to keep saving and can spend a bit more of your income while "coasting" along. My friend Sahil Bloom recommended the Ninja CREAMi and we've been obsessed since getting it. 99% of the time we're using it to make protein ice cream (link to the recipe) in just a fews mins but we've also made fruit sorbet that the kids love (and the only ingredients are fruit).
